Product Overview

Over the course of the Covid pandemic another specialty stamp was issued that took the pandemic as their subject.  The vaccination played an important role in combating the pandemic. It was represented in philatelic terms by the plaster that was applied after vaccination. This miniature sheet bearing the motto “Tut gar nicht weh!” (This won’t hurt a bit!) is made from the same material as a plaster for sensitive skin, even featuring the typical pad, while the adhesive strips on the back can be removed just like on a real plaster.

The idea for this original miniature sheet resulted from the imponderables of the coronavirus pandemic and was therefore issued on short notice and without an announcement in the issue programme. This plaster-shaped stamp is meant as a hint to increase people’s motivation of getting vaccinated and thereby increasing the vaccination rate.

This plaster can also be stuck on an envelope
