The immense success of Crypto stamp 1.0 led to a new issue being released in 2020.
The stamps featuring four different animal motifs are made of paper this time. The stamp is located on the front of the paper card, is water-activated, and can be easily removed. The access code to the virtual collection is located on the back, under a resealable label.
In addition to the new digital features, Crypto stamp 2.0 also differs from the first edition in terms of security. The stamps now come in their own packaging, which is sealed with a security label.
All of the animals – a honey badger, a llama, a panda and a dog (doge) – were chosen
because of their symbolic association with the blockchain community. In each of these
designs, the physical stamps were identical, but the digital images were once again
available in a range of colours with varying frequency: ranging from black (the most
common variant) through green, blue and yellow to red (the rarest variant).
Colour distribution:
• Black: 52,3 %
• Green: 26,7 %
• Blue: 13,3 %
• Yellow: 6,7 %
• Red: 1 %
